Founding Mission
Nova was founded with the pursuit of developing a science-backed and effective product from a local plant known as Phyllanthus niruri. This endeavor began in 1997, at the humble community pharmacy in Sungai Pelek. The research spanned a decade, finally bearing fruit as our founder successfully created the world’s first patented Phyllanthus niruri standardised extract (EPN 797), which is used in our liver tonic supplement – Hepar-P.
To facilitate the utilisation of Hepar-P in clinical settings by healthcare professionals, we initiated an extensive clinical trial in 2018. This trial concluded in 2021, yielding positive results. This clinical trial underpins Nova’s core belief in providing evidence-based products supported by strong scientific evidence. It is part of Nova’s bigger mission to help everyone improve their health and combat chronic diseases.

Since Nova’s establishment, we have delivered health solutions through diverse distribution channels: pharmacies, health stores, clinics, and hospitals. This aspiration has led us to a strategic paradigm shift— the birth of ETERNER’s direct selling approach, synergising with the emergence of the ETERNER brand within our health solutions.
